Kids can come make a mason bee house. Mason bees are natural pollinators. They are also solitary and, unlike the honey bee, they do not live in colonies. Instead, the females do all of the work themselves, seeking out natural cracks and crevices to lay their eggs. This project teaches kids about nature, while providing helpful bees a place to lay their eggs.
